This is a big problem for residents, drivers and visitors who are on foot or cycle.

The pinch point centre of our village is a dreadful place to get through whether on foot or driving. Not only is the road not wide enough for large vehicles to pass but there is no proper footway for pedestrians. The photo on the right shows the school bus crash in the 1990's. Fortunately no one was killed.

The photo shows just how bad things are for pedestrians. There is no continuous  pavement and inplaces it is just 20cm wide on a blind bend. 

Large vehicles have to cross the centre white line as this photo shows.

It is amazing how drivers will stop for the ducks but are happy to wizz past pedestrians without slowing.
