Addresses can be hard to find

Visitors often can't find their way round the village. It doesn't help that the road names shown on Google Maps are incorrect.

The map on the right shows the village core and outlying hamlets. There are about 110 homes in the core and another 30 in the hamlets.

The map below shows the road names. Mansfield Road begins at the Gorsethorpe Lane junction. Clipstone Road, which begins at the Dog & Duck Bridge, for some bizarre reason goes in the opposite direction to Ollerton!!

All the outlying properties except Cavendish Lodge have Edwinstowe postal addresses and just to add to the confusion the postal address of the village core is still Old Clipstone.
