The following agendas contain much of the evidence submitted at each stage.

General Purposes Committee Meeting 26th November 2009

Passed 7- 5

Clipstone Parish Council submission proposed dividing current parish into 3 wards, the Kings Clipsotne ward would have removed 19 homes from the village and attached them to the other wards even though they had no links to those wards. The Steering Group proposed an amendment to the boundary to include Badger Hill and High Rocks plantation in Clipstone as this was a popular walking area for Clipstone residents. This was ignored!

Full Council 15th December 2010

22 Villagers attanded the meeting to show support - this was very well received by the Councillor's.

Passed 36-6

General Purposes Committee Meeting 18th February 2010

 Clipstone Wards changed to 6 & 3 councillors instead of 7 & 2 - Clipstone Parish Council wanted 8 & 2

The Clipstone councillors proposed that Kings Clipstone should have its own Parish but still wanted to remove 19 homes form the village.

The boundary proposals approved in December were again approved but with a clause that Clipstone Parish Council and the Kings Clipstone Steering should try to agree a boundary before the Full Council Meeting.

A meeting was held between Clipstone Parish Council and the Steering Group to try to resolve all outstanding issues. Steering Group again made the offer to change the boundary. After a further meeting involving District Council Officers this went forward.

Full Council 10th March 2010

Organised a coach trip this time - 25 villagers attended - see the March 2010 Newsletter.
